T4S Partners, Inc. is seeking experienced Cherwell ITSM Developers to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, technical position. Qualified candidates will have broad-based business and technical experience along with an understanding of ITSM development, preferably experience configuring and deploying Cherwell. This person will be part of a Delivery Team and will interface with clients to transform customer requirements into fully functional solutions based on the Cherwell ITSM platform. This includes conducting design workshops, customizing user interfaces, testing, training, and post production support. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Previous Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology
  • ITIL V2 or V3 Master or Foundations Certification – preferred
  • Cherwell certification/training or equivalent experience
  • Previous consulting industry experience in a technical or business analyst role is a plus.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cherwell Web and other Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, ASP, .Net, C#, MS SQL Server, etc.)
  • Experience with ITSM Best Practices, IT Service Desk
  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Business Needs Analysis & Business Modeling skills, the ability to define the client’s requirements within the context of their business. Ability to assess the opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of a potential solution
  • Strong interpersonal skills; customer-centric attitude; ability to deal with cultural diversity including:
    • Decision-Making — Ability to use logical sound judgment and experience to determine the appropriate course of action for a given situation
    • Problem-Solving — Gather and use information needed to develop effective solutions to difficult problems or situations
    • Facilitation and Meeting Management — Guide the activities of an individual, group, or team toward a desired result or outcome. Drive consensus and team ownership of decisions
    • Influencing Others — Ability to assert ideas and persuade others to commit action (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems
    • Conflict Management and Negotiation — Ability to come to sound agreements with counterparts in business or organizational situations where there is disagreement or differences in interest

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support project and solution delivery including:
    • Application UI Configuration
    • Workflow Configuration
    • Development of required client specific reporting
    • Development of required integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.)
    • Interface with Cherwell resources as appropriate
  • Function as a key member of the overall project implementation team
  • Prepare client and internal deliverables
  • Work with account teams to identify and progress opportunities for additional value to our clients
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings
  • Contribute to the development of the IT Service Management practice

  • Ability to partner with Sales and Delivery to provide technical implementation support, product demonstrations, business configurations and training to current and potential commercial customers

  • Professionally and appropriately address customers’ and partners’ technical questions and issues
  • Work independently and as part of the Delivery Center Team
  • Have a “do whatever it takes” attitude and be willing to step outside their comfort zone
